Outside Christmas Fun in and Around Center City Philadelphia

The 2020 Christmas season is certainly not how anyone pictured it. But Philadelphia still has some festivities you can safely partake in and enjoy.

BOATHOUSE ROW

It might be a little chilly but you can bundle up or choose a more mild night. Drive by or take a stroll on the infamous Kelly drive path. Boathouse row is truly a Philadelphia gem especially at Christmas time. Not only are all of the boat houses lit up for the holiday, you also get a beautiful view of the city’s skyline.

DILWORTH PARK

Why not go ice skating in the heart of the city? You can even do some shopping before. Dilworth park is a great location where you can make a day of enjoying all the city has to offer.

BLUE CROSS RIVERRINK

Yes another ice skating rink but this is so much more! Have you checked out the holiday festive Ferris wheel or the Chickie’s and Pete’s stand? You can even rent a heated cabin for you and your family to hang out in. Yes it’s true some of our favorites are temporarily closed but you can still get what you put into this holiday season.

MIRACLE ON 13TH STREET

This is a beautifully lit block lighted by the residents to help spread holiday joy.  It’s definitely a must see. You can drive thru or take a stroll down this little piece of the north pole. Don’t forget to keep an eye out for some of the Philly staples like Gritty and the Philly Phanatic.
